Sparring

Spar ten positions from your White repertoire and ten from your response to 1.e4

• If you chose your opening from the ChessDojo Repertoire, the sparring positions are already marked.

  
  

  
  

• Otherwise choose 5 early positions from your own repertoire that you think are critical.

  
  

  
  

• Sparring is completed 15 moves after the initial sparring position. ie. if you start on move 7 the session ends on move 22.- you play each position as white and black (yes, you will play positions that are not part of your repertoire for the benefit of others!)

• It is strongly encouraged to review each session with your opponent

• Time control is 15 30
